Short version: Status Saver Pro does not collect, store, or share any personal information.
The app reads only your WhatsApp Statuses folder (with your one-time permission) and saves files
to your own device. We do not have servers, accounts, or analytics.

1. What this app does

Status Saver Pro is a utility that helps you download and save photos and videos that your contacts post as their WhatsApp Status. All processing happens on your phone. Nothing is uploaded to the internet by this app.

2. Information we do NOT collect

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any account information.
We do not access your contacts, messages, calls, microphone, camera, or location.
We do not maintain user accounts. There is no login.
We do not run analytics or behavior tracking inside the app.

3. Permissions the app uses

Storage Access Framework — you grant one-time access to the WhatsApp Statuses folder so the app can show you the statuses available on your device.
Internet — used only to fetch and display Google AdMob ads.
Network state — used to know if you are online so we can decide whether to attempt loading an ad.
Post notifications (Android 13+) — only to show download success messages.

4. Advertising

The free version of Status Saver Pro shows advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. Google may use your device's advertising identifier (a randomized, user-resettable ID) to serve relevant ads. This is governed by Google's own privacy policy, available here: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

You can reset or limit your advertising ID at any time from your device: Settings » Google » Ads.

5. Children's privacy

Status Saver Pro is rated for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe a child has somehow provided information to us, contact us and we will confirm there is nothing to delete.

6. WhatsApp trademark notice

This app is an independent utility. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp Inc. or Meta Platforms, Inc. "WhatsApp" is a registered trademark of its respective owner.

7. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, the new version will be published at the same URL with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
